Leapmotor has rolled out a major over-the-air (OTA) software update for the Leapmotor B10, introducing a suite of new features aimed at improving driving comfort, connectivity, and overall user experience.

Arriving just six months after the B10’s launch, the update highlights the brand’s fast-paced software development strategy—delivering meaningful upgrades without requiring a dealership visit.

One-Pedal Driving Enhances Efficiency

One of the standout additions is One-Pedal driving, allowing drivers to accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator pedal. This feature improves driving smoothness while optimizing regenerative braking, ultimately boosting efficiency and range.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Now Supported

Connectivity sees a significant upgrade with the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Drivers can now seamlessly access their favorite apps, navigation, and media through both wired and wireless connections, enhancing convenience on every journey.

Smarter Controls and Personalization

The OTA update introduces improved interface functionality, including customizable steering wheel buttons. Drivers can assign shortcuts to frequently used features such as ADAS systems or drive modes, making the driving experience more intuitive.

A new split-screen navigation layout also enhances usability by allowing multiple applications to run simultaneously, improving visibility and ease of access.

Faster Infotainment and Refined Driver Assistance

Leapmotor has also optimized system performance with a “Quick Start” preloading feature, significantly reducing infotainment startup times.

In addition, updates to adaptive cruise control (ACC) and lane centering control (LCC) ensure smoother deceleration when approaching curves, improving both safety and comfort. The in-cabin presence detection system has also been refined for greater reliability.

Seamless OTA Deployment

The first OTA update for the 2026 model year began rolling out in early February and is being deployed to B10 owners. Drivers receive an in-vehicle notification when the update is available and can install it directly through the car’s interface.
